The present invention relates to a method for removing a water insoluble part of a molded product using an apparatus for automatically removing a water insoluble part of a molded product for removing a sprue contained in a molded product in casting operation. The apparatus for automatically removing a water insoluble part of a molded product comprises: a work table; a base plate linear moved along a front and rear transfer guide installed in the longitudinal direction of the work table on the upper surface of the work table; and a cutting device fixed to the upper surface of the base plate to remove the sprue of the molded product transferred. Moreover, the method for removing a water insoluble part of a molded product using the apparatus for automatically removing a water insoluble part of a molded product comprises: a first step for fixing a molded product to the base plate; a second step for linear moving the molded product with the base plate along the front and rear transfer guide toward the cutting device when the molded product is fixed to the base plate; and a third step for removing the sprue from the molded product transferred with the base plate by driving the cutting device. The present invention has effects of shorting the working time by automating a post processing process for removing a water insoluble part formed by a sprue, and preventing a safety accident from being occurred as a person does not work.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
