The present invention relates to a method for recovering a laid submarine cable and, more particularly, to a method for recovering a laid submarine cable, capable of previously preventing an accident and efficiently and safely exposing the submarine cable by using an air lifting method. The method for recovering the laid submarine cable according to the present invention includes a ship moving step, a submarine cable exposing step, a submarine cable cutting step, a first damage detecting step, a first submarine cable dropping step, a second damage detecting step, a first submarine cable connecting step, a moving and laying step, a second submarine cable connecting step, a submarine cable reinforcing step, and a second submarine cable dropping step.
