The present invention relates to a system for estimating input/output (I/O) performance for a solid state disk (SSD)-based cloud redundant array of independent disk (RAID) configuration, which is used to measure costs for I/O logic configuration so as to reinforce the I/O performance costs in an SSD-based cloud storage system. The system of the present invention comprises: a storage pool managing unit for managing a storage; a logic structure setting unit for setting an I/O logic configuration for I/O of the storage; a performance monitoring unit for measuring an I/O throughput of the input/output of the storage; and a parameter manager for measuring I/O throughput in the set I/O logic configuration to estimate costs for the set I/O logic configuration, wherein multiple chunk sizes are applied to obtain I/O throughput and the I/O throughput is used to estimate the costs. According to the system of the present invention, an I/O performance is evaluated by using an SAD function to decrease difference between a selective I/O performance and an ideal I/O performance of a storage system-based cloud.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
