A shaving cartridge containing: a housing containing a leading edge and a trailing edge, one or more razor blades located between the leading edge and the trailing edge, a shaving aid holder; and at least one shaving aid portion secured to a shaving aid holder, the shaving aid portion comprising about 0.1% to about 10% by weight polyoxyethylene, a pyrithione source, and a soap base. The shaving cartridge of claim 1, wherein said pyrithione source is present in an amount of about 0.01% to about 5%, by weight of the soap base. A shaving cartridge according to claim 1, characterized in that the pyrithione source is selected from the group consisting of zinc pyrithione, sodium pyrithione, pyrithione acid, dipyrithione, chitosan pyrithione, pyrithione magnesium disulfide, and combinations thereof. A shaving cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said pyrithione source is in the form of platelet particles and has an average particle diameter of about 0.5 microns to about 10 microns, a median particle diameter of about 0.5 microns to about 10 microns, and a thickness of about 0.6 microns to about 15 microns. 5. The shaving cartridge of claim 4, wherein the average particle diameter is from about 1 micron to about 5 microns. A shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the median particle diameter is from about 0.6 microns to about 0.7 microns. A shaving cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said soap base comprises from about 0.1% to about 1.0% by weight of a soap base of a pyrithione source. Battery cartridge
