A method for diagnosing anxiety disorders in the structure of affective disorders in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes, including conducting daily monitoring of glycemia (CGMS), wherein diagnosed hypoglycemic episodes in day and night time periods, which allows to make a differential diagnosis of hypoglycemic and anxiety states, occurring with similar clinical symptoms; the absence of hypoglycemic states can identify the presence of anxiety disorders in a child with type 1 diabetes and to diagnose affective disorders, as a complication of diabetes.
