The estimated utility model relates to Applied optics, namely the optical monitoring methods biogeochemical processes in natural waters and can be used to monitor biogeochemical processes in natural bodies of water in a small external light background. The device comprises a main hermetic module, in which the electronic control unit further comprises a modem communication core power, a monochromator, based on the concave diffraction grating driven stepper motor, LED illuminator, the input and output waveguides, the stepping motor in Pancake jacket disposed outside of the top cover propelling platform neutral buoyancy, which is a small sealed light unit to the receiver based on the PMT-130 operating in the photon counting mode, the signal from which is fed to high-speed amplifier-comparator and then to a timer-counter, a microcontroller, digitizing the signal from the photomultiplier, and transmitting it over cable sealingly connecting the receiver module light and the main unit, a point monochromatic quasi-isotropic light source disposed on the bottom cover of the main module , the screen shading a light source fixed on the yarn stretched between the centers of the source and receiver. The proposed device allows to measure the spectra of the absolute values of UGS carrying more complete information about the biochemical composition and the aqueous medium. Another important distinction of the proposed utility model from existing analogues is the possibility of long-term monitoring of biogeochemical processes in natural waters.
