A method of a mineral substance classification includes the classification in a gaseous medium of at least one mineral substance, which includes dolomite, or talc, or titanium dioxide, or aluminium oxide, or kaolin, or calcium carbonate, or their mixtures in the presence of at least one additive, which promotes the classification. The said additive includes glycerol in an aqueous or pure form or glycerol with one or more agents or one or more polyglycerols in the absence of glycerol.
