FIELD: blasting operations.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scent simulators of explosive substance (ES), used for training activities, namely for investigative training of dogs in training canine centres for the detection of hidden ESs. The method of creation of scent simulator of explosive substances (ES) for training sniffer dogs consists in application of ES samples on the substrate of the sorption material. And the sorption material is used as odour neutral porous inert material, a fragment of which is placed in a hermetic container with the ES sample located in it, the container is heated to a temperature not exceeding the melting point of the ES, and incubated for a time sufficient for partial or complete saturation of the porous material with ES vapours.;EFFECT: invention enables to provide a technically simple method of creation of a low-cost scent simulator of ES, which is safe and convenient to use, to simplify the recycling of the simulator.;7 cl, 3 dwg
