FIELD: personal use articles.;SUBSTANCE: drum device for sweeping streets and roads comprises a drum brush, in front of which a shield is mounted. Driving and rotation of the drum brush is carried by the drive pulleys rigidly secured to the wheels of rotation, and transmitted to the driven pulleys rigidly secured to the end sides of the drum brush by reverse belt drive. The device operation is carried out by moving the lever handle, which support point is the axis with wheels. The drum brush and the shield are removable with a width of 0.5÷1.5 m, which depends on the front of work. The gearing ratio, on which the rotation speed of the drum brush depends, is $u=\frac{D}{d},\mathop{\mathrm{image}}$ where D, d is the diameter of the driving and driven pulley, respectively; u=1÷5.;EFFECT: increased efficiency and productivity of sweeping streets and roads, reduced noise level.;3 cl, 8 dwg
