The sample measurement data are then used to calculate the sample-average signal value and the sample-average value of the square of the signal and, using the calculated sample-average signal value and the sample-average value of the square of the signal, the values of the unknown parameters - average signal value and noise dispersion - are calculated using special-purpose computer software and formulae.EFFECT: optimising the noise reduction process when processing a random signal by simultaneously calculating the signal and noise and subsequently filtering the analysed Rice signal in order to extract useful information from the obtained data.2 cl
