FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: method includes first wet grinding glass ceramic to obtain a highly concentrated slurry with density of 2.10-2.13 g/cm3, fineness (residue on a 0.063 mm sieve) of 5.0-7.5% and content of particles with a size smaller than 5 mcm of 30-35%. Workpieces with an arbitrary shape are moulded and subjected to re-treatment in a slurry with density of 2.10-2.14 g/cm3, fineness of 5.5-6.9% and content of particles with a size smaller than 5 mcm of 30-39%. Articles are then moulded and heat treated.;EFFECT: shorter duration of moulding, low water absorption and high strength of the glass ceramic material of cowlings.;2 tbl
