A method of calculating local partial dose (Di) radiation in a radiation therapy apparatus for applying a total dose of radiation (Dpr) in a target volume having a plurality of beams, the method comprising: - defining at least a first control plane for controlling the dosage of the beams (3, 3a, 3b, 3c , 3d, 3e, 3f), wherein each of the at least one first control planes (1) divides the target volume (4) into two sub-volumes, respectively for the front side (10, 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) and the rear side ( 11, 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e) of each of the at least one first control planes: assigning at least one beam, - for each first control plane (1, 1a, 1b): determining a subvolume total radiation dose (Do, Dr) for each one the two sub-volumes as a fraction (Fo, Fr) of the total radiation dose (Dpr), the method further comprising: - setting at least one second control plane (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) for controlling the positioning ng of the beams, each of the at least one second control levels (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) dividing the target volume (4) into two sub-volumes, - assigning at least one beam (3, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f) to each of the at least one second control planes (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g), one leading to a second control plane (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) is divided into two by the respective second control plane such that the local partial radiation dose (Di) of the two beams (3, 3a, 3b , 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f) are each in different, defined by the respective second control level, sub-volume is not equal to zero, the method further comprising: - For at least one side of a first control plane: isolated calculation of the corresponding local partial beam doses (Di) of all these first control plane (1, 1a, 1b) associated with radiation, so that the sum of the local Teilstrahlendo those of the beams which are assigned to the side of the respective first control plane (1, 1a, 1b) facing the respective subvolume, the respective subvolume total dose (Do, Dr) and the sum of the local partial beam doses of the remainder of this first control plane (1, 1a, 1b) gives the difference between the respective subvolume total dose (Do, Dr) and total dose (Dpr).
