The present invention discloses an intrusion sensor for monitoring access to a building to be monitored, the intrusion sensor being arranged on the entrance on the inside of the building, with an acceleration sensor which is designed to detect movements of the intrusion sensor in at least one spatial axis and in the event of a movement in the at least one axis, to output an acceleration signal, with an environment sensor which is designed to detect at least one value of at least one physical variable in the environment of the intrusion sensor, and with a plausibility check which is designed to include the acceleration signal to plausibility check the detected value of the physical quantity and to output a break-in signal in the event of a negative plausibility check. Furthermore, the present invention discloses a corresponding method and an alarm system with an intrusion sensor according to the invention.
