The invention relates to a control method for a secondary dedusting system in which a pipeline network connects an induced draft fan with at least two suction points. The pipeline network comprises a controllable exhaust air flap for each extraction point, the flap position of which influences the volume flow at the extraction point. By means of a mathematical model of the pipeline network, the method allows the energy-efficient control of the exhaust air flaps and the induced draft fan.
