Disclosed are a method for determining a correction logic (70) for a reaction model (60) of a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst (40), a method for correcting parameters of the reaction model (60) of the SCR catalyst and an exhaust system with which the methods are used. The reaction model (60) of the SCR catalyst (40) is defined by m parameters and has n input variables, where m and n are natural numbers and n is less than m. The reaction model (60) of the SCR catalyst (40) may be configured at least to predict a nitrogen oxide (NOx) concentration downstream of the SCR catalyst (40).
