The invention relates to an injection-molded component (1) having a wall section (2) with reduced wall thickness in relation to its surroundings. Furthermore, the invention relates to an injection molding tool (9) for producing such a component (1). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for assessing the manufacturing quality of such a component (1). The object of the invention is to provide a solution that is simpler and less expensive than before and allows a non-destructive inspection of the quality of the injection-molded component (1). This object is achieved by an injection-molded component (1) having a wall section (2) with reduced wall thickness relative to its surroundings and having at least one injection pressure indicator projection (3) for assessing the production quality, wherein the at least one injection pressure indicator projection (3) is separated from the thin-walled wall section (2 ) protrudes outwards and is provided with a coarse test structure (4) and with a fine test structure (5) whose dimensions are smaller than those of the coarse test structure (4). According to the invention, an injection molding tool (9) for producing a component (1) with an injection pressure indicator projection (3) is also provided. A method according to the invention for assessing the manufacturing quality of an injection-molded component (1) comprises the steps of: generating an injection pressure indicator projection (3) on a wall section (2) with reduced wall thickness compared to its surroundings; and checking the injection pressure indicator protrusion (3).
