A system for controlling the vehicle interior noise by a smartphone and a method thereof include a driving information provider for providing driving information while the vehicle is being driven. A smartphone includes a microphone that detects the interior noise or the noise of the vehicle and generates a noise control signal to reduce or enhance the interior noise based on the driving information from the driving information provider. An audio amplifier amplifies the noise control signal received from the smartphone and outputs an amplified signal via a loudspeaker.
