In an electronically controlled throttle system (S) having an error judgment function, an error judgment unit (9) calculates respective deviations between a target throttle opening degree (TRG) and each of actual throttle opening degrees (TOD) detected by a plurality of throttle opening degree sensors (26a, 26b). If all deviations are equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it evaluates that the electronically controlled throttle system (S) is faulty.
