For producing a thermoacoustic energy conversion element part, a plurality of first disks and second disks are formed. The first disc is provided with a plurality of linearly penetrating slots that are parallel to each other and separated along a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the slot. The slots penetrate the first disk in a direction of thickness. The second disc is not provided with a penetrating slot. A disk assembly is formed by laminating some of the plurality of first disks between adjacent ones of the plurality of second disks, with major surfaces facing each other. The disk assembly is provided with a plurality of communication passages formed with the penetrating slits attached to each other in a laminating direction. Portions of the assembly at both ends in the extending direction of the penetrating slots are cut to open the communication passages on both sides of the assembly.
