The rotor has a chamber accommodating a sample and comprising a shape adapted to ensure concentration of content of the sample at center of reel or radio frequency solenoid while limiting positioning of content of the sample at peripheral volume of the rotor. The chamber includes a circular section in a plane perpendicular to an axis of the rotor and an elliptic section in a plane including the axis of the rotor, where the chamber includes ellipsoidal volume and spherical volume. An independent claim is also included for a device for attenuating an interfering signal.
