The method involves determining an attitude of an antenna in a trihedral geographical local (TGL) reference frame centered on a signal receiver, by iterative determination of attitude angles of the antenna yielding maximum of sum of energies of weighted sums of signals received by sensors at an output of correlators of a processing channel associated with satellites. Weighting coefficients of the weighted sums are calculated from the attitude angles considered at iteration and from known positions of the satellites in the reference frame. An independent claim is also included for a signal receiver.
