This bridge (2) fixing two adjacent panels of a roof on the frame of a livestock building, comprises a support surface for a first (40A) of the two panels, which is complementary to the underside of a covering end portion (R1) belonging to the first panel (40A). It further comprises a slot (30) for receiving a covered end portion (R2) of a second panel (40B), which is arranged below at least a portion of the support surface. Thanks to the invention, once the second panel attached to the frame, the bridge is temporarily immobilized with the second panel through the slot. Thus, the trigger guard is not likely to move during the fixing of the panels. This also makes it possible to fix the first panel in a preferential position where it partially covers the second panel while maintaining a ventilation opening between the covering end portion of the first panel and the end portion covered with the second panel.
