Each blade (10) includes a coupling interface having a plurality of network connection ports, and a backplane card (12) carries a network link routing for coupling the N blades (L1, L2 ... LN). These are ordered according to a predefined logical sequence of chaining and are coupled sequentially with each other, each blade being coupled by a first port to the blade which precedes it and by a second port to the blade which follows it, via a single network link. The chassis is devoid of blades dedicated to the redundant interconnection of the links between the other blades of the chassis.
