The present invention relates to a mobile device for the implementation of a method of census of persons who access a specific local. The device consists of a mobile device equipped with a video device, a cloud platform (commonly called Cloud), and a supervisory console used by the administrator. The method implemented by the device makes it possible to avoid double counting of people who access a specific local, to gather strategic information on the recognized person, to create interest groups on the basis of criteria generated from this information, and to generate other statistical data as well as alerts.
