The invention relates to a method implemented by computer means, for managing the supply of energy to a set of consumers, in which, following the obtaining of data relating to consumers and variables influencing consumption ( A): a) we build a first, coarse set of consumer classes (B), b) we then estimate an intra-class consumption model (C), for each class, c) we then build a second set, consolidated, of consumer classes (E), by grouping in the same class consumers whose models are close, according to an estimate of distances between models (D), d) defines at least one target model of consumers among the second set and an energy supply instruction (F) is generated which is recommended for consumers according to said target model.
