A two-player competitive game modifies the rules and playing surface of traditional backgammon to create new strategies and tactics. The game is played with two 7-sided dice and a home zone (15a, 15b) for each player has seven points. A player who is able to remove a playing piece of the other player by landing on it is obliged to do so or the other player removes one of their pieces as a penalty. Preferably the track consists of 28 points and each player has 24 pieces. A computer program operating such a game is also disclosed.
