A method of carrying out a lucky draw, or lottery, using photos submitted by users using smart-phones or tablets at an event where an event identifier is selected and personalized data, which is associated to the event identifier, is retrieved from an event participant da­tabase. The data sets of the personalized data are randomly selected until a counter has reached a pre-determined dis­play number, and steps of displaying a data set of the randomly selected data sets on a display screen and of incrementing the counter are repeatedly executed.
