IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR PAN-TILT APPARATUS, PAN-TILT APPARATUS, CAMERA AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PAN-TILT APPARATUS

An identification method for a pan-tilt apparatus comprises: when the pan-tilt apparatus detects that a device is connected to a predetermined interface, sending a keep-alive command to the access device, wherein the keep-alive command comprises capability information of the pan-tilt apparatus which carries a control function of the pan-tilt apparatus (11); and the access device determining the control function of the pan-tilt apparatus according to the keep-alive command, and reporting the control capability information of the pan-tilt apparatus (12). The method determines whether the pan-tilt apparatus is accessed and available by use of a camera through the keep-alive command, adds an information interaction process of pan-tilt apparatus access notification between the camera and a management platform, facilitates capability discovery and configuration of the management platform and the camera, reduces the workload and the error probability, and improves the real-time property of maintenance. Also disclosed are a pan-tilt apparatus, a camera and a control system for a pan-tilt apparatus.
