A system and method for business process modelling including: an image capturing module, configured to capture screenshots of the business process; an image repository, configured to store the captured screenshots; and a mapping module, configured to map the captured screenshots to objects and to connect the objects to model a business process. In a particular case, the system and method ma}' further include an image analysis module configured to analyse the captured screenshots for significant events and wherein the significant events and associated screenshots are mapped to the objects.
