ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM WITH A FAILSAFE ENERGY SUPPLY AND METHOD FOR FAILSAFE ENERGY SUPPLY IN AN ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
The invention relates to an electromechanical brake system and an associated method with a failsafe energy supply, comprising a first to fourth brake module (BM1-BM4), each associated with a wheel of a vehicle, having at least one control unit (SG1-SG4) and brake actuation unit (BAE1-BAE4) each, wherein, in order to supply the brake modules with electrical energy, the control unit and the brake actuation unit of a brake module are each connected to at least one main energy supply unit (HVE) via energy supply lines fed independently of one another. In order to supply additional electrical energy to the brake modules, it is particularly advantageous for a first emergency energy supply unit (NVE1) to be connected to the control unit and brake actuation unit of the first and fourth brake module and for a second emergency energy supply unit (NVE1) to be connected to the control device and brake actuator unit of the second and third brake module, in each case via additional energy supply lines fed independently of each other, wherein the selection of the energy supply unit for supplying energy to the brake modules is made via switching means that can be actuated at least partially separately from one another via at least one central control system.
