There is provided a resin coated metal sheet for using drawn and ironed cans. The resin coated metal sheet is to be made into a can body by drawing and ironing. The resin coated metal sheet includes a metal sheet and a resin layer. The resin layer is formed on a surface of the metal sheet to be a can outer surface. The resin coated metal sheet for using drawn and ironed cans is characterized in that the resin layer having a storage elastic modulus of 500 MPa or less within a temperature range of 90-150°C and a degree of breaking elongation of 100% or more within the temperature range of 90-150°C.
