A network camera system (10) includes a network camera (14) and a power-over-Ethernet switch (12) for providing network power. The network camera (14) is connected to the power-over-Ethernet switch (12) and includes a casing (20), a main board (22), and a splitting circuit board (24). The main board (22) is disposed in the casing (20) for operating the network camera (14). The splitting circuit board (24) is disposed in the casing (20) and connected to the main board (22) and the power-over-Ethernet switch (12). The splitting circuit board (24) includes a signal transceiver (26) and a power transceiver (28). The signal transceiver (26) is used for performing network signal transmission between the power-over-Ethernet switch (12) and the main board (22). The power transceiver (28) is used for splitting a first splitting power from the network power to the main board (22) as an operating power of the network camera (14).
