There is provided a technique of load modulation amplification with enhanced load modulation ratio. Such technique exemplarily comprise a load modulation amplifier comprising main amplifying means, arranged on a main amplifying path, for amplifying a main portion of an input signal, peak amplifying means, arranged on a peak amplifying path, for amplifying a peak portion of the input signal, splitting means for splitting power of the input signal to the main amplifying path and the peak amplifying path in accordance with a predetermined splitting ratio, and driving means, arranged on the peak amplifying path between the splitting means and the peak amplifying means, for driving the fraction of the input signal power directed to the peak amplifying path in accordance with a predetermined driving factor larger than 1.
