PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Tsunami countermeasure floating island having a chain-like floating body member of joining a large number of floating body members settable even to weight for lowering the center of gravity downward by a joining member and an end part floating body member arranged on both ends of the chain-like floating body member and joined by the joining member to the chain-like floating body member, with an air layer of 5 meters or more in a height as an essential constitution for buoyancy.;SOLUTION: Tsunami countermeasure floating island comprises a chain-like floating body member of joining a large number of floating body members (for example, a floating body box body, a floating body hollow box body, a floating body hollow bag body or a floating body hollow membrane body) of indwelling an air layer of 5 meters or more (for example, 15 meters) in a height in an upper part and seawater or fresh water for moving the center of gravity downward in a bottom part, by a joining member and an end part floating body member joined by the joining member to both ends of the chain-like floating body member and moving for preventing a Tsunami in the Tsunami.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
