PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a modulation wave while suppressing sampling speed.SOLUTION: A transmitter 2 comprises: a bandpass ΔΣ modulator 25 for performing bandpass ΔΣ modulation on a modulation wave; and an output unit 22 for outputting, as a modulation wave, a quantization signal output from the bandpass ΔΣ modulator 25 to a signal transmission path 4. A receiver for receiving the quantization signal comprises: an input unit 31 to which the quantization signal is input; and an analog bandpass filter 32 to which the quantization signal received by the input unit 31 is given as input.
