PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control structure used with an existing pile foundation structure that may be constructed readily, effectively suppress deformation of the pile foundation structure, and prevent a damage to piping connected to a foundation footing.SOLUTION: A seismic control structure is used with an existing pile foundation structure comprising: a pile foundation 2 installed in a liquefaction layer G1; a foundation footing 3 installed above the pile foundation 2, for supporting an existing elevated water tank 1; and a plurality of underground anchors 4, 4, ... driven from an outer peripheral part of the foundation footing 3 toward a bearing layer G2 located underneath the liquefaction layer G1, the underground anchor 4 having an upper edge 4a fixed on an outer peripheral part 3a of the foundation footing 3, and a lower edge 4b fixed on the bearing layer G2 with a first fixing part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
