PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic adjustment device for audio signal, a characteristic adjustment program for audio signal, and a characteristic adjustment method for audio signal that facilitate upconversion of an audio signal.;SOLUTION: A characteristic adjustment device for audio signal is configured to adjust characteristics of an audio signal when generating audio signals of a plurality of channels to be output from speakers by upconverting input audio signals of two channels, and includes: a delay control part 150 which imparts a delay time to a second audio signal other than a first audio signal output from a speaker located on a front side in a depth direction and by a display etc.; and an equalizer control part 140 which adjusts a gain and a frequency. The delay time is set based upon the sum of a first delay time for generating a simulation primary reflected wave of the first audio signal and a second delay time set to be longer for the second audio signal of a speaker arranged on a rear side.
