PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operation from appearing to be unnatural to a user.SOLUTION: A state-of-charge calculation apparatus for calculating a present state of charge of a battery and displaying the present state of charge on a display, calculates, when a present voltage of a battery is located between a first voltage in a fully charged state of the battery and a second voltage lower than the first voltage, a multiplication value by multiplying a division value, which is obtained by dividing a difference between the present voltage and the second voltage by a difference between the first voltage and the second voltage, by a difference between 100 percent that is a state of charge in the fully charged state and a second state of charge which is calculated by current integration at time at which the present voltage becomes equal to the second voltage, and determines an addition value obtained by adding the multiplication value to the second state of charge as a present state of charge of the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
