PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sticking a nameplate to facilitate forgery prevention and authenticity determination of a device, and a determination method using the same.;SOLUTION: The method for sticking a nameplate to a device includes a step S12 of performing predetermined calculation from a serial number and other pieces of manufacturing information to obtain a number indicating the position of a start point to which the nameplate is to be stuck, a step S13 of using a ruler having a start point number mark formed on its surface and a notch formed in one side and allocating the start point number mark of the ruler according to the reference point of a device casing, and a step S14 of sticking the start point of the nameplate to the device casing according to the notch of the ruler.
