PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high purity (meth)acryloyl-oxy adamantane carboxylic acid compound.SOLUTION: The method for producing a (meth)acryloyl-oxy adamantane carboxylic acid compound includes a step 1: reacting hydroxy adamantane carboxylic acid compound and halogenated methyl alkyl ether to protect the carboxyl group, a step 2: adding (meth)acrylic acid chloride to the reaction mixture of the step 1, to (meth)acryl esterify the hydroxyl group, and a step 3: de-protecting the protecting group of the carboxyl group to produce a (meth)acryloyl-oxy adamantane carboxylic acid compound represented by a formula (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
