PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet radiation amount information evaluation device and an ultraviolet radiation amount information evaluation method capable of accurately evaluating adequacy of estimated ultraviolet radiation amount distribution information.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet radiation amount information evaluation device comprises: a radiation amount distribution estimation information acquisition part for acquiring estimation information of ultraviolet radiation amount distribution in a water conduction type ultraviolet processing device when ultraviolet is radiated to treatment target water; an inactivation ratio estimation value calculation part for calculating an estimation value of an inactivation ratio for every kind of average microbes present in the water conduction type ultraviolet processing device, based on an inactivation speed constant for every kind of the plural kinds of microbes included in sample water which is conducted to the water conduction type ultraviolet processing device for testing, and the estimation information of the ultraviolet radiation amount distribution information; and an adequacy evaluation part for, based on whether or not, the actual measurement value of the inactivation ratio for every kind of the microbes when the sample water is conducted, and the acquired estimation value are within a preset range and are similar to each other, creating evaluation information which evaluates adequacy of the estimation information of the acquired ultraviolet radiation amount distribution information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
