PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator pit ladder capable of simply and surely fixing the pit ladder at a storage position and a work position without providing any hole in a pit floor, and an elevator safety operation system equipped with the same.;SOLUTION: A pit ladder 32 is provided in a pit P vertically stored in a storage position X along the wall surface W of the lower side of an entrance 20 at an uppermost floor, and rotated in the vertical state to be pulled out to a work position Y, and includes support cylinders 38a and 38b fixed to a vertical column 36a, a support shaft 39 having one end inserted into the support cylinders 38a and 38b and fixed to the floor of the pit P, and a rotation stop 32a penetrating the support cylinder 38b and the support shaft 39.
