PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling method and a peeling jig that can peel a back surface protection sheet from a solar battery module more simply and more easily than a prior art in a work of peeling a back surface protection sheet from a solar battery module when damage or lead wire displacement of a solar battery element, defective appearance of the back surface protection sheet, etc. occur in a solar battery module.SOLUTION: A solar battery module is configured so that a surface protection sheet 1, a filling material sheet 2, a planarly arranged solar battery element 3, a filling material sheet 4 and a back surface protection sheet 5 are successively laminated in this order and integrated by thermal crimping. The configured solar battery module is heated at 80 to 160°C, peels a part of the back surface protection sheet from an end portion of the solar battery module, grips the part of the back surface protection sheet by a rod-like member and peels the back surface protection sheet 5 while winding the back surface protection sheet 5 around the rod-like member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
