PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edible composition for improving type 2 diabetes formed of Guava fruit and trehalose.;SOLUTION: A Guava pulp which is polished at constant temperature is filtrated by a filter which can filtrate to a filtrate having a low oxidation reduction potential, and Guava juice containing Guava polyphenol and having low oxygen reduction potential is acquired, and trehalose is added to the Guava juice for forming Guava juice containing trehalose, in the edible composition for improving type 2 diabetes formed of the Guava fruit and trehalose. By ingestion of the Guava juice containing the trehalose, oxydation stress and inflammatory reaction caused to a kidney and pancreas due to type 2 diabetes, can be reduced, and palatability of the Guava juice is also enhanced.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
