PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer printing apparatus that eliminates the need for multiple transfer means, and can cut a sheet in one cutting operation without providing a margin portion even in the case of an edgeless image.;SOLUTION: A thermal transfer printing apparatus matches ends 151 and 152 of both of an image 101 of the i-th (i≥1) of multiple images and a cut image 103 of the (i+1)-th cut out of an image 102 of the (i+1)-th and prints it in photographic paper, when the print of the multiple images is required.
