PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and correctly determine an incoming or outgoing route to or from a predetermined area, on the basis of location information provided from a portable information terminal of a user.;SOLUTION: An incoming-or-outgoing route determination device 10 defines a predetermined area with line segments. The incoming-or-outgoing route determination device 10 is connected to the predetermined area, divides a set (i.e., a polyline) of line segments located between incoming or outgoing routes adjacent to each other on the basis of a predetermined condition, and sorts each division into a group of one of the incoming or outgoing routes. The incoming-or-outgoing route determination device 10 acquires location information from a portable information terminal 50 of a user, calculates a movement track from the location information, and determines whether or not the calculated movement track intersects with any of the divisions of the polyline. When an intersection is confirmed, the incoming-or-outgoing route determination device 10 determines that the user has entered or exited through an incoming or outgoing route which is associated with the division of the polyline with which the intersection is confirmed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
