ASSIMILATIVE DATA DETERMINATION DEVICE, WEATHER PREDICTION DEVICE, ASSIMILATIVE DATA DETERMINATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine weather data appropriate as data used for data assimilation from among multiple pieces of weather data.;SOLUTION: An assimilative data determination device comprises a weather data acquisition part, a prediction part, an assimilation part, a similarity specification part and a determination part. The weather data acquisition part acquires point-by-point weather data which is observed at multiple points in a prescribed area. The prediction part predicts weather on the basis of the weather data acquired by the weather data acquisition part. The assimilation part corrects the predicted weather, with respect to each combination of the points, using the weather data at the point relating to the combination for assimilation. The similarity specification part specifies a similarity between the corrected weather and the weather shown by the acquired weather data, at an evaluation point which is at least one of the points. The determination part determines a point relating to a combination with a maximum similarity to be a point to be used for assimilation of weather prediction.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
