PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat-fixing rubber roller having a fluororesin tube covering even an end surface of a rubber layer while preventing rounding at an end of the roller.;SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a heat-fixing rubber roller which includes a metal core shaft having an outer circumference provided with a rubber layer and a releasable resin layer formed of a releasable resin tube in this order includes the steps of: (a) concentrically holding a metal core shaft in a cylindrical die; (b) disposing a releasable resin tube on an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical die; and (c) forming a rubber layer through injection of a liquid rubber into a gap between the releasable resin tube and the metal core shaft and heating. The cylindrical die has an inner circumference provided with a protrusion 115 at both ends for abutting the releasable resin tube onto an end surface of the rubber layer.
