PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal structure of a loose tube type fiber cable that can prevent jelly filled in a loose tube from leaking from a terminal connected with the loose tube and can prevent disconnection of an optical fiber caused thereby, and provide a manufacturing method for the terminal structure.;SOLUTION: A terminal structure X comprises: a terminal part Y that includes a resin tube 4 which allows insertion of an optical fiber 2 and is partially inserted into a loose tube 3 from a terminal 32, includes a sleeve 5 which is fixed around the loose tube 3 and the resin tube 4, includes a self-fusing tape 6 which is wound around the sleeve 5, and includes a heat shrinkable tube 7 which is provided around the self-fusing tape 6; and a resin sealing part 8 that seals a portion in the terminal part Y where at least the heat shrinkable tube 7 appears. The terminal structure X can prevent such a problem that jelly 31 filled in the loose tape 3 leaks from the terminal 32 due to water pressure, etc. because the terminal 32 of the loose tube is sealed securely, thereby exhibiting excellent water-pressure resistance.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
