PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical stylet equipped with an optical pressure sensor that can precisely detect pressure at a specific site in a body in a state of being inserted into a catheter and in which a secure connection between optical fibers in a wire and in a cable is compatible with a structure capable of injecting liquid into the catheter.SOLUTION: A medical stylet includes a hollow wire 82, a first optical fiber, a first connector 70, a cable 90 and a second optical fiber 88A. The first connector 70 includes: a port connection part 72 that is connected to a port for passing the hollow wire 82 into a catheter; and a branch port 73 that flows liquid into the catheter connected to the port connection part 72. A proximal end part of the optical wire mounted inside the hollow wire 82 and a distal end part of the second optical fiber 88A are connected to each other within the first connector 70 so as not to come into contact with the liquid flowing between the port connection part 72 and the branch port 73.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
